Two of my cucs have finished so today I dismantled the selfwatering system and gave the matting and trays a good wash.

FISHING....either today or tomorrow, haven't decided yet. Retirement gives you these awful decisions to make!

A kitchen day today. Stewing apples for freezing, making courgette soup for lunch, roasting cherry tomatoes in the oven. and boiling up big tomatoes for eventual sauce for freezing. The kitchen was awash with steam. At one point three large pans on the hob bubbling away. Crisis only just averted when I nearly put chopped tomatoes in the apple! I'd have found some excuse to OH for pink apple dollop I'm sure.

I’ve also removed a couple of finished Toms plant today still got 7 plants in there with Toms in various stages of ripening.
Hopefully they’ll ripen enough to use because I don’t like green Tom chutney.
