Tinned asp bear very little similarity to our wonderful fresh stuff. They're mushy and rather strange, but rather nice with thin bread and sandwich spread. They're of the era of Fanny Craddock, cheese and pineapple on sticks in a 'hedgehog' and devilled eggs, really 60's or Abigails Party. Nostalgia rules. Big Grin
