Filled the next 4 beds with manure.
Weeded the strawberry bed.
Weeded a bit around the new beds. Hoping to get this completed and the paths covered at the weekend, hoping!

Had a morning out at garden centre in Plumley that sells Dalefoot compost. Car was quite heavy when we came back. Then, had a snooze (siesta pre brexit).

Weeding. Had a word with mrs blackbird about eating all my tomatoes. Fed chillies. Fed tromboncino. Lots of strimming & mowing. Seed collecting. Tied up my Tom Thumb lettuce that I’m hoping to save seeds from. Pulled up anything that looked like it was thinking about flowering.

Found caterpillars on my tumbling tomatoes. Built a coffin.

Watered indoor strawberries, beetroot, DFB’s, carrots and potatoes. Fed chillies and cucumbers.
Sprayed front yard weeds with roundup as I am getting my yard ashphalted in 2-3 weeks and need all weeds dead.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Today I sowed lamb's lettuce in a gap in the raised bed, plus modules of winter lettuce, radicchio, mizuna, pak choi and mustard greens - the modules will go into my new raised beds when I eventually get them built.
Unfortunately I dropped one of the module trays coming into the house, so the seeds may have ended up on the floor with some of the compost
I guess I'll find out when nothing comes up. Oh well, I can always resow them...
How much veg and wildlife can I pack into a 6m x 8m garden in suburban Cambridge? Let’s find out!
