A large deer pnce got stuck on some barb wire on the spotsgound fence I worked at. By the time I got there it had thrrashed about and must have had a heart attack? It was still wam so I rang my old boss who was a gamekeeper and we hauled it up in the garage and I helped him paunch it,and cut it up into joints.
He only wanted some of the liver for his troubles, so I filled my freezer and lived on venison for a good while. I did force a large bottle of whiskey on him fo his toubles though and once I tasted the liver I realised why he likeed it so much. Enjoy you venison SC, I certainly did!

We usually buy a couple of carcasses at a ridiculously low price each year. But we’ve missed out last couple of years due to the lack of kitchen to cut it up. Just about coped with a shoulder and 2 hunches in the caravan.

I haven't acquired anything today but I have given away 2 old clocks, 7 tennis balls and a large cardboard box. More clutter.

More cupboard clearout collected! Some unusual items, including Ponzu Yozu sauce, Pancake Spice, Hot truffle seasoning and Svanetian Salt. Apparently this is a speciality of Tbilisi, Georgia where the donor's husband works. To save you asking the duck https://pekis.net/article/svanetian-salt...ur-cooking. More mudanely, there was a jar of Sweet & Sour Sauce and Lasagne Sauce, some Garam Masala and the 3rd jar of pickled gherkins I've collected recently. Everyone must be clearing out ready for Christmas.
Out went a small TV and some headphones.

I offered some ventilation pipe on local buy & sell group today for free.
It’s stuff we collected ages ago, when we thought we’d be using an old MVHR system that Bob’s brother happened to have spare. As we’ve got a new system that came with all the pipe work. This stuff is surplus to requirements

.
It’s being collected from the end of the road tomorrow morning. She’s going to leave a jar of plum jam in it please for us.

That sounds lovely. Think that would work really well sprinkle on some kale before dehydrating into crisps. Or use it for curing fish or meat before smoking or dehydrating.

Just made an Olio collection. Fresh chicken fillets, roast chicken slices, steak pie, carrots, blueberry muffins, croissants and a selection of bread rolls.
The muffin was very nice.
