The build

Excuse my ignorance but do all solar panels poduce 12v electicity that needs to either be stored in a battey or bumped up to 240v (with an inveter I would imagine?) for home use or to sell back to the electicity boad? Or do home solar panels actually provide 240v?
My motohome has two solar panels which charge an onboard battey for my lighting and running 12v electics, but to supply 240v when not on hook-up I would need to add an inverter.
The other thing is that even if the sun isn't shining the panels will still charge to a certain degree won't they? I was born much too early for all this technology!

Most house systems produce 48v DC which is then converted to 240v AC by the inverter.
Most house batteries like the one we're getting are about 48v dc but some manufacturers stubbornly stick to 400v dc

Can't have 2 of them, they'll gang up on me

Today we built up the ground to finished level. Just a little area where the air source will be going.
Before      After      . We still need to build up around the outside of the shuttering. But that’s the important bit.  And it shows us how much more we need to build up the rest of the driveway.

Is the infil concrete or just chippings? Does the driveway need to reach the level of the top of the shuttering, if so thats a huge amount of building up to do.

 It’s supposed be grade 1 stone   But it’s seems to be more like grade 2. Which is what we wanted but they didn’t have   . Either way is stone and conveniently what we wanted. Yes the rest of the ground has to come up to that level at the top of the shuttering. In places it’s already there. Walk 2/3 across the driveway to the garage and it at the right high. Which blows my tiny mind that there’s that much difference.
