Our first thunder storm (though it's not really a storm!) in this house! The rain is peeing it down and I'm going upstairs to watch the lightning!

Yes that is hail on the 3rd June, and no it’s not melting very quickly.

Heavy rain showers overnight which along with the wind lashing it against the windows, kept me awake all night! Stopped raining but overcast and quite cold now!

Overnight rain has topped up the waterbutts. overcast today, no sign of the sun but I have faith!

We've had drizzle all morning ever since 6.30 (we had to get up at 6.30 for a 7am sofa delivery) no serious rain enough to fill water butts but I'm hoping.

Lovely sunshine today, and it's warming up, although just below 20 degrees still.
I've watered everything that I've planted out today, but just love being outside in shorts and a little top. I am turning into a sunworshipper.
