2025 doing something new / different

My doing something new is very exciting today. I put our wheelie bin out for the first time  Big Grin .
Since we moved into the caravan we’ve been taking our rubbish & recycling up to the commercial bins at the end of the road. Finally our council tax has been sorted out and we can put our bins out. We only actually have the rubbish bin at the moment. Because we acquired one ages ago. Which is lucky because we have to pay £42 for one of those. Even though it’s a new build and not just a replacement bin. The other 2 bins recycling & glass are both free. But we’ve not been provided with those yet. Which is also quite annoying as the glass recycling is due for collection tomorrow. That’s only collection once a month. Not that it’s really a problem. We don’t use very many glass products at all.
Who knew bins could be so exciting  Rolleyes  Big Grin

It's not exactly 'new' now but every time I take Bluebell out it's like I learn something new. She was making a soft bong noise occasionally and I had no idea what she was trying to tell me. I figured it out yesterday. She was telling me I had changed speed limit area. Gone from a 30mph to a 50mph, she alerts me to a change. She also bing, bing, binged me for something yesterday, quite alarmingly but once again I've no idea what for. Every day's a school day.

Going to a house clearance sale today. Never been to one before. We’ve had one, but never been to one.

Not exactly new, as I did this 2 years ago and today, I did it again..................I went to Specsavers. Big Grin
The good news is, my eyesight has hardly changed and I still only need reading/computer glasses - the same ones that I bought 2 years ago. Happy days. Big Grin

I need to do that. They keep telling me I just need reading glasses and that my eye sight at a distance doesn't warrant having glasses, but I think I can't see!
