2025 - What I did today

Finished sorting my seed collection. Looking forward to sowing some.
Bob surprised me with a new phone today. So be warned. I’ll be flooding the forum with lots of photos very soon.

Sowed seeds to welcome spring. . Planted some very old bulbs without a lot of hope. Weeded Veg Plot 1.

Dug up JA's this afternoon some have been frozen, some given away then I'm making soup and a gratin.

Cut down autumn Bliss raspberries I've left a few canes longer to get an earlier  crop.

Do your JA's give you wind Ben? I'm always tempted but remember in my youth of having violent tummy ache after JA's. I know they're renowned  for the windies.

JJB no stomach ache but wind effect calms down after the first meal or two, they're not called  ‘fartichokes’ for nothing

Cleaned the rest of the JA’s using the pressure washer, it was much easier than all that scrubbing.

That’s not good Vinny, we’re with Virgin they turned up when they said. We just have the broadband package then use Freesat for the TV.

Sown seeds. Put compost in propagator to warm. Ready for re sowing chillies.

Since you're already with Sky, who use the BT Openreach network, I would try using a comparison site to find a cheaper Openreach provider. It should be easier to switch from Openreach to Openreach rather than having Virgin come and drill a hole in your wall. You only really need super fast internet if you've got multiple people in the house streaming Netflix in 4K or playing video games.

Another load of logs to shift and stack today! It doesn't help that I have man-flu and really can't be arsed,but hey ho, needs must!
