More clearing in the garden closest to the house. I want to simplify it - get rid of some of the plants that have been there for years and have spread too much - like montbretia, perennial geraniums, honesty and the diseased fuchsia. Create a much smaller flower bed, a new direct path and generally make it easier to mow and maintain.

Did some cutting back in the tunnel. Found my first Kermit has finally set. Strimmed the daffodil and foxglove bank behind the post box. Covered it all with a thick layer of wood chips (9 barrow loads). Did a little bit of rock splitting with Bob. But rain stopped play.

Continued with revamping the house garden bit. Nothing too energetic!

I pulled up some MT and saved some seed, tied up tromba and climbing courgette, picked and harvested.

Weeded Bed 1 (the old pond) and some other bits.
Should have sown some "Fruits" seeds - maybe tomorrow.
The weather was changeable - sun/light drizzle/sun/ downpour. Not a day for getting stuck into something!

Weeded Bed 2.
Sowed Fruits (Courgettes and Beans) - and carrots leftover job from last week.
Its Transplant Tuesday so I pricked out some Tokyo Bekana seedlings into bigger modules and planted one seedling in GH2 as an experiment.
Planted some shop leeks and spring onions that have been in water to root.
Trimmed the tomatoes.
Weeded part of the path between Strips 1 and 2.

Its Wormsday so I drained the wormeries, fed them and read them a story.
Watered the Windowsill plants.
Weeded bed 3.
Did a lot of debrambling and weeding around the trampoline in Strip 2. I may sow wildflower seeds there, when its clear. (Please note the "may" as I have been known to forget or change my mind.

Weeding round the trampoline gave me visions of you jumping up and down picking out plants that had the temerity to grow tall around the edge. Boing, grab, boing, grab. Or maybe using the trampoline to reach those pesky inaccessible places denied to those of a disadvantaged height.
