June
Harvested £4.90 (Pitiful)
Plant & flower sales £28 (that’ll do )
Spent £25.95 (5kg coir compost block and pack 12 garden marker pens) ( not used the blocks before, I like them. Pens should last me a decade. Use about 1 a year. 12 for £15 better than 1 for £4.95 )
Overall balance harvest + sales £94.95 ( oh I might brake even by the end of the year! )
Overall spending £150.87

July balance
Harvest £42.33 (I’ve included the bunches of flowers in harvest this month as they weren’t paid for. As usual all costing are based on Tesco prices where possible. Edible flowers are a definite money maker. Not Tesco prices. Basing prices on first ones I found online. £7 per 18g !!!)
Plants sold £9.50
Spent £5.57 (seeds including p+p)
Overall balance so far harvest & sales £146.78
Overall spending £156.44.
I notice I’m the only one playing this game now.

I've fallen off the wagon because I have very little to harvest. I think its my worst year ever.
I'll look back through "What I harvested" to come up with a figure.

I've forgotten to record the July's intake and as yet haven't done the last two/three months balance, so you're not alone Veggie.

All I’m hearing is lots of excuses .
I don’t mind playing alone. I’m finding this fascinating. I really look forward to doing this when I have my garden running at full capacity (the other 2 tunnels and all the raised bed).
I will continue to make you both feel guilty by posting my monthly results .

I fully intend to continue, but you know what happens to good intentions. I might have to do some creative accounting for July.
