Yesterday finished putting rocks around the latest cottage garden bed.
Still got to dig moat & finish digging out the weedy middle.
Lot of sawdust turning & drying yesterday. That’ll be continuing today.

So far today I’ve dug the moat round the latest bed. I removed one of the tomatoes from its hanging basket and added a plastic liner. water can still escape, just not as quickly as it was doing. Poor thing really wasn’t happy. Dead headed and cut back things in the cottage garden.
Had a blow out on the wheelbarrow
Me and skew nearly **it ourselves . It went off like a flipping shotgun.
I’m about to go water a greenhouse and so so many house plant. And feed cats & chickens for the last time. Their mum & dad are back from their holiday later today.

Its Transplant Tuesday/VP2/Strip3 and I needed to catch up on yesterday's VP1. I took some chard seedlings and potted perennial kales to the end of the garden to plant out, but, there was a big bramble overhanging the chard bed. Needless to say, I attacked the brambles/nettles/dock and sundry weeds before planting out the chard! Oops, I haven't done that yet. That'll be tomorrow's catchup job. I did do some weeding/tidying of VP1 & 2 so not all was lost.

Windowsill Wednesday so I've watered the indoor plants. Nothing to pot out yet.
I caught up with yesterday's planting of chard and kale, finished hacking down the brambles, Weeded VP3. Also dug up a clump of raspberry canes that were encroaching on the path. They looked healthy but no sign of fruiting so they have been binned.

Yesterday dug out the middle of the latest bed. Started putting up the scaffold tower in the living room. Put all other bits we’ll need in there before the rain came.
Today probably won’t have much gardening going on.

Did some clearance in Strip 3. Weeded the old chicken run and dug up some tatws. Did some more weeding in VP4. Watered the GHs.

Weeding VP5 and raking up grass from the paths around it. Too hot to do much today.
