Not feeling the greatest motivation today but eventually got some peas tied up, more beans planted out as well as hollyhocks, mallow, various types of pumpkins. Covered the rest of the things I took to the plot with chicken wire until I can get them in the ground. Also finished building a bad idea of a garden support that I started a couple years ago. It's 7 ft tall. How will I get it to the allotment? How many weeks will it last before it gets blown over or experience some other form of doom? Stay tuned.

Loads of weeding. P finished digging the veg patch, all the time moaning about the amount of weeds (no change there) so now I can start planting out courgettes. Also got a few bags of horse manure, so that'll come in handy for courgettes.

My neighbour gave me 100+ lettuce seedlings! I planted them in clumps in GH2. No way was I going to plant each one separately.
Watered and fed the tomatoes with Hotbin liquid - their first glug of the year.
Potted up the courgettes that had germinated in a plastic bag, and a few that had grown from the mass emptying of old courgette seeds into a communal seed tray. There are quite a few
Most of the afternoon was spent slicing mushrooms for the dehydrator. It would be a shame to waste them.

Family trip to the allotment yesterday. Worked on weeding some very rough patches. Planted out beans and pumpkins. Watered everything. Losing several seedlings in pots to slugs since they came out in force with the rain after the sunny weather. Alas.
Oh and I took the tall garden support over just balanced on the wagon. Worked fine, even while holding hands with a toddler part of the time.

Planted out Trombas and a climbing courgette Black Forest around the climbing frame. Planted a couple of tomatoes outside Chadwick Cherry and Bloody Butcher. You see, the weather will change now.
