Weeded the strawberries in the shopping trolley, baby bath, and hanging on the railings. Then continued weeding along the patio and around the corner, and down the steps to the garden.

Went trout fishing and even though my eldest Son and I were the only ones on the water we had a tremendous day fishing catching loads of trout and losing just as many! One of the ones I lost took off and stripped all the line off my reel unti it got to the end then snapped me off! It was as if I had hooked onto a jet ski

Planted 3 begonia corms in patio pots. P was levelling up a few slabs, muttering & questioning the parentage of whoever put them down with so much concrete that it had to be angle grinded off the slabs. Planted out 2 of each Brokali Apollo, Autumn Calabrese & Calabrese Premium Crop. Gave a few of each away. Found a long forgotten peat pot full off sweet peas so bunged them in. I've acquired an absolutely huge pot, and the plan was to plant 3 Orangeto tomatoes in it. In the end decided against that and opted for 3 separate pots to aid manoeuvrability.

Looked on adoringly at the seedlings (camped out on the front garden for at least a week now...), rode my husband's bike (first time in many years) to the allotment as a proof of principle as I consider renting a cargo bike, and now fretting about the seedlings being blown to bits in the again wild wind.

Dug round the edges of another bed in the cottage garden.
Sent some sunflower seedlings to nursery for the next generation of gardener to grow on.
Put my little sales barrow out.

Planted some DFB seedlings in a trough on a table - for easy picking.
Pricked out some perennial kale seedlings, including Asturian Tree cabbage.
Planted more tomatoes into pots in GH2.
Pulled up lots of young dock plants that came up easily after yesterday's rain.
Moved the "new" orange tree onto a table in the garden as the dogs were showing too much interest in the little fruits!

Sowed zinnias.
Sowed more courgettes (again). These blasted slugs have a lot to answer for.
