Allotment with the whole crew. Planted out peas and MT and sweet peas (well differentiated from the edibles) with help from my oldest. Chatted with plot neighbours. Felt positive about the growing season for a change.

Cut some dead twiggy stuff out of the peach trees and an apple tree.
Dried a load of washing too. All in all, a good day for being outdoors. Big Grin
I'm on a roll today!
Started to clear some more of GH1 including digging up some strawberry runners and planting them in troughs. That emptied 2 more pots for tomatoes. Also pulled up the remaining radish, rocket and a load of forgetmenot that had sneaked in from somewhere. I'll be planting more tomatoes tomorrow.  Cool

The polytunnel is now completely planted up.
Collected a watering can of sea water for my samphire.

Started off with a couple of hours tiling the bathroom, then watching youTube repairs of strimmers. Then investigated the lack of power in my strimmer and reconnected the throttle wire which was loose. Hopefully it will be working in the morning as some areas are seriously out of control.

Lots of weeding.
Planted cerinthe, lavatera, foxgloves and eryngiuim.
Potted on some cosmos.
Sowed another courgette, Summer Holiday, an round yellow/orange striped one.
Squished some lily beetles caught in flagrante delicto.
Yet more weeding!

The showers caught me out several times. Potted on some cucs, planted out some chard from modules sown earlier when there was no hope of going on the ground. I think today is going to be a 'rinse & repeat' looking at the forecast.

Once again dodging showers. Finally got some onion sets pre-planted in modules into their proper soil. I bet they'll have the last word and bolt. Transplanted cucs & courgettes into bigger pots.

Went by myself to the plot. Finally got the last potatoes planted. Did some quick and very rough strimming done. Planted some self seeded daisies that I took out of my back garden. Started moving the paving stones with the furniture on them so I can get the furniture near the path and use the sunnier patch for planting. Chatted with my plot neighbour, of course.
