I became a grandfather for the 4th time this afternoon, a baby girl, I now have 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters 
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

 Rain
The first bouncing rain for weeks. Didn't last long but, its a start. Feels like winter out there - cold, windy, trees thrashing around. Not very enticing.

The day before yesterday I found loads of Black fly on the young growth of a young Rhubarb plant. We had visitors and I was too busy to blast them off with the hose, which is what I usually do. Yesterday I counted at least 10 Ladybirds on the plant. This morning I looked again and the plant was virtually clear. Just goes to show that nature really will take care of itself if life alone.??

I’ve finished making 5 hand fasting rope thingy’s. So the bride has a choice. If I never see another ribbon or have to tie another knot, it’ll be to soon! .

At least you know you're getting one. I buy my own just for me from me, then the ownership miraculously changes, quote "what do you mean, a present from me, you bought it yesterday" . Typical! One year I did get a present, a soup ladle  .
