Home safe and sound after a month visiting my parents in California with my family. My youngest turned one, I turned 40, my oldest wrote her first note to Santa, and we generally had a wonderful time after being unable to get to them for three years. Hard to leave but also happy to be home.

Happiness is the sound of 3 dogs snoring at once - all at different pitches and intervals!! Fortunately, I'll be going out soon.

After a really long break because of Christmas, New Year and then being full of cold germs, my pal and I met up for a very girly gossip and outing to the shops. It didn't matter that it was raining or what we were doing, it was just so nice to reconnect again. She understands my drivel like no man ever could
