Planted out some more onions: 24 Globo and 24 Ailsa Craig to go with 30 clusters of Augusta already growing. That's too many onions.
Also half a dozen young lettuces (Marvel of Four Seasons).
Weeded out a surprising amount of rosebay willowherb that has just started peeping above the soil.

Started on the old pond area. Draining the pond is on hold as there is frog spawn in it. I swear it wasn't there yesterday! The water level has been lowered to leave enough for the frogs but enable us to remove some of the raised edges. Part of the fence has been reduced in height by 50% simply by bending it over.
Cleared enough of the BIG bed to sow some carrots and radishes.

Pricked out toms, set up more staging in the gh, caught the mouse eating my broad beans tips.

DId a bit of gardening this week but still mainly renovating the living room and camping out upstairs.

Grafted 22 tomatoes and potted up another 20 just in case. Sowed beetroot and broadbeans - still to do carrots and parsnips.
Varieties: Alicante, Gardeners delight, Galina, Roma, Orange banana, Omar's Lebanese, Brandywine, Delicious,

I will have a problem next week as we are visiting my daughter in London to help out for a few days with childcare when the small plants should need some attention but will just have to fend for themselves.

Gnashed my teeth about T&M yet again.
The “yellow cheerfulness” narcissi planted up into pots and containers for indoors have turned out to be a complete hotch potch of ordinary garden daffodils.
Waste of compost (they could’ve gone straight in the garden) and waste of using nice containers.
Oh - and waste of money too- could’ve had a sack full of ordinary daffs for what I paid for 10 yellow cheerfulness.

All the more reason to complain - then stop buying from them!
