Biodynamic/Moon Gardening

I've stopped trying to understand the logic, Jimny.

Full Moon tonight
Mon, Tues & Wed are Fruit days
Thurs, Fri & Sat are Root days
Sunday PM is Flowers.

This week I'll be sowing some more tomatoes, and something out of cucumber, courgette, aubergine, pepper, dwarf and broad beans on MTW
Maybe onions, carrots, beetroot and some early spuds in pots on TFS.

I've officially given up. Just can't relate to it at all. I'm going back to Roots, Shoots, Fruits, Leaves and Flower which makes sense to me, if not to anyone else.

Wise decision, you don't need to purposely complicate things, 'eats, shoots and leaves' is quite enough complication at our time of life

I feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders today.
Friday is for flowers and herbs - simple, isn't it? I'm quite excited about Monday when I start afresh (Roots Day 1st of the 4 week cycle - and its carrots and radish). Happy days.

Today, I had a chat with a man about planting potatoes. He always plants them at Easter (which, as we all know, is a moveable feast) unlike St Patrick's Day - March 17th.
"Why do you plant at Easter when the date can vary by several weeks each year?" I asked.
To my surprise, he asked whether I'd heard of gardening by the moon - and that the date of Easter was determined by the position of the moon.
Having looked it up, he is absolutely right!
"On the Gregorian calendar (the one that we use), Easter is the first Sunday after the Paschal full moon, which is the first full moon on or after March 21. Easter thus always falls between March 22 and April 25." https://www.catholic.com/qa/how-is-easte...-wednesday
