As above. Very tasty but I am having problems witj my spuds disintegrating in the pan? Tried steaming them to no avail? If I can't sort it I will be having 'smashed' tatties from now on which are still very tasty but don't look as good on the plate.

Are they freshly dug spuds? They may need to harden up for a few days before cooking.

They are Charlottes I dug up last week. Another interesting quirk is that they are 'flowery' instead of the usual firm Charlottes. The taste is there but the texture is different to usual, still very nice though.
