IN today - 7 pairs of black socks with funny faces at the ankles , a large container of Fairy liquid fabric conditioner, and a rooted division of - Anemone "Wild Swan".

Only one IN today - a carrier bag of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotions. Definitely won't need to buy any of these items in 2022 and probably 2023 too.

IN today came a cucumber, 2 bags of carrots and a loaf of bread. Closely followed by a new/unused Russell Hobbs Salad Xpress gadget that slices veg or spins lettuce straight into a bowl that can be used for serving it or lidded for storage. I don't think the box has ever been opened although it must be a few years old as they're no longer on sale.
I've thought about keeping it as it could be useful but..............its just another gadget to take up space in the cupboard where it would probably stay for 364 days of the year. I'm going to reoffer it and hope that someone else can use it.
OUT went my favourite pair of shoes!! I stubbed my toe on something and ripped the sole off!! It flapped around, looking like a crocodile's mouth, opening and closing as I walked. Fortunately, it happened in the garden so I wasn't flapping around in public looking like a hobo.
Also OUT went 7 packs of raw salmon petfood and a bag of cat biscuits to one of the Sourdough OLIO ladies who also rescues cats.

It was Free Food at the Church today. I left it late as I don't want to take the food that people in need want - I prefer to take the perishables at the end.
Lots of Dip type things from Waitrose - Beetroot, Tahini, Hummus, feta cheese dip and a bean one. Plenty of Veggie meals that nobody else wanted and can be frozen - Falafels, Burgers, sausages. Several bags of salad - lettuce, rocket, spinach, Five packs of Asparagus, Double cream. You can expect to see these on the Menu in the coming days.
I was "adopted" by a man who was determined to clear the available food by putting it in my shopping bag. As soon as his back was turned I'd take it out and put it back on the table. Didn't find all of it though until I got home. Three lots of beetroot and yoghurt salad is about 2 too many!!
Also collected 4 Supermarket veg crates for my next nutty idea.
OUT went a bag of clothes and I've arranged for the Salad machine thingy to be collected tomorrow/Monday

Holiday cottages didn’t provide much this weekend just 4 red onions.
Builder that would like to go play in the garden.

IN came books by the bag load. 5 gardening books and 3 supermarket big bags of cookery books. They were so heavy I had to decant half of each bag into a carrier bag to move them to the car.
OUT went half of the cookbooks and, once I've had a better look at what's left, I'll probably end up keeping about 6 books. I'm pretty sure that one of the gardening books is a duplicate too so that'll be an OUT soon.

OUT went the Salad thingy.

Your dental check ups are FREE??? We have to pay summat like £20 for ours over the border, then you have to fend off the hygienist at another £40 odd, I'm might emigrate.
