For quickness becase I am under the weather, I had a Chicken Korma ready meal wth rice. I also fried off some cougette slices to go with it I was surprised how nicely the courgettes went with hte curry so looked up this recipe to try with my courgette glut!

That does sound good Vinny. I’ve added that link to the vegetarian & vegan recipe section as well. .
We’re having bangers & mash with peas & gravy.

I've been lax about this recently but most days, until the evening meal are similar!
B - Stewed fruit and granola or Toast and jam
L - Sandwich (Y/S Hummus and cucumber today)
D - Cauliflower cheese for 2 nights. Tonight Y/S salmon with sweet potato mash and mixed green veg
An expensive day today as the Salmon was £1.07 so exceeded my target spend for the day. Fortunately, everything else except the hummus (5p) was free.
Total £1.12p

I had friends around last night.... with a few extra, the kids that have come home for the summer hols.
So I got a lamb shoulder ( ouch! ££) and used the tresjevnac (sp) beans. Studed the shoulder with garlic and rosemary, a whole bottle of white wine,4 onions, a carrot, a tomato, squirt of tomato paste, a tin of anchovies,a whole garlic bulb and a ton of beans - in the oven for 3hours. Served with bread and broccoli...and we ate outside with a fire
