Google says I should add a bit of flour, but don't particularily want to boil it up again? Suppose I'll have to though. Sick
I never cook the blackberries for using in a pie...I use stewed apples, using that as a base and I sprinkle the blackberries on top. I freeze the blackberries as is.
I may have made a boo boo then! Blush I have Frozen four containers with enough in each for a single pie. I'll just have to see how it turns out but may add some fresh aple to pies when i make them. Huh

Plenty of blackberries letft in the hedgerows so may need to make another excursion! Big Grin

This is my third day of what appears to be Man Flu! Rolleyes Poor Kato is not happy with my long lie in and even his daily walks shortened to some degree. I have cancelled all my gym workouts, and done a covid test which is negative , thank goodness. Cool Yesterday I even lit the woodburner as I was shivering. Hopefully norml service will be resumed as soon as possible as this cough is doing my head in! Angry

Ditto, Vinny. x

I sowed spring cabbage seeds, planted some rooted cuttings of Golden and Purple Sage. Potted up several different named mints as I'm trying to keep them contained and separate.
Pulled up the Wautoma cucumber plants as the leaves had turned yellow and crispy. That's the end of the 2022 cucumbers unless I sow some more?

You are so neat and tidy Admin, you put me to shame! Rolleyes OCD involved methinks, or am I just a slovenly sod? Big Grin

^^^and very generous prizes. BTW P thinks The Boss is wonderful, I think they may be long lost brothers, although P has a good deal less energy than The Boss and far fewer wheelbarrows Smile

'Pruned' trees, i.e. cut any branches of birch, weeping willow, apple and conker trees overhanging ours or ours overhanging others. Then shredding them. Cleaned out this years compost bin into bags to make way for the stuff we're cutting up. I have vague plan to sieve the compost and make my own potting stuff for next year. I'm not that confident it will be good enough but quite honestly anything is better than the peat free stuff I bought this spring. It just didn't hold any moisture.
