Mushroom and veg stir fry this evening.

My kale, carrots, courgettes, spring onions, peas and french beans.
As usual they'll be far to much so leftover in wraps for tomorrows lunch.

B. Blackberries, raspberries on granola (10p)
L. Two Y/S Falafel & Houmous wraps (28p)
D. The left over Y/S Salmon & smoked cod fishcake.(32p) with some sauteed baby potatoes and my total crop of CFBs (all 8 of them).
The baby potatoes came from Morries yesterday. They're the spuds they have at the salad bar. I bought a huge tub of them for 10p. Tonight, I cut some in half and shallow fried them until crispy brown. Cost 2p at the most.
Will have a sourdough chocolate doughnut later.

Total cost - 72p.

Yesterday we were out for lunch at a friend’s before we went for a walk round Torosay gardens. A very nice homemade quiche with a beautiful salad covered in a lovely balsamic dressing.
Just a smoked salmon sandwich for tea and the last of the sticky toffee pudding.

Tonight I’ve no idea yet

Too much left over stir fry  for wraps so we're having omelettes and salad instead.

I have got my 'gram' flour now, it's Meatless Monday today and I have a wealth of onions ready so its onion bhaji's for me later! Cool What with? .......I have no idea but I am sure I will think of summat! Big Grin

Just a quick edit, onion Bahji's were my own recipe which I couldn't replicate if I tried.Dipped them in a spicy nacho dip and Paul Newmans yogurt & herb dip (is he still alive?)
I've eaten ten hot and have another five which I will try cold, all from two large onions. They should have been made by Mr Kipling as they were exceedingly good and could become a Meatless Monday staple for a while!!!

L An icecream!! (30p). I'd come back from the vet's (Boosters for 2 dogs) and it was so hot. All I wanted was an icecream.
Mid afternoon - Blueberry muffin.
D 3 veggie sausages from a 40p YS bag (20p), fried sliced potatoes from the YS box (2p) and half a tin of baked beans (Free).

Total 52p. Big Grin

Home made healthy chicken chow mein - adapted recipe from the Two Chubby Cubs. It's basically chicken stir fried with chinese five spice, then any veggies you got (peppers, onion, carrots sliced with a peeler, peas, beans, cabbage etc), dark soy sauce, sesame oil, sweet chilli sauce or sriracha, more garlic and ginger paste, salt, pepper, water with corn starch, served with noodles. Yummy.
