Last night was a slice of the sourdough olive and onion ciabatta with some fried sliced courgettes.
Which reminds me - I need to pick some more as they're bound to bigger after yesterday's rain. Yum yum Fat courgettes.

I made a sort of Ratatouille (Rats again!) from the 3 sweet peppers and some onions (Collected Free), Courgettes and 2 tins of tomatoes and one of red kidney beans and ate a bowl of it with some sourdough herb focaccia.
A totally FREE meal and there's plenty left to freeze.

I was peckish at supper so tried my hand at some onion bhaji's as I have loads of onions at the allotment. I didn't realise it was a vegan recipe though I got from youtube and they were nothing like my favoured Morrisons version! They were greasy and made without eggs and using plain flour instead of gram flour (which I haven't got anyway).
Dipping them in Habernero Chilli Mayonaise did help with the taste though!

A starter of battered daylily flower & buds with aioli. Very very nice.

Followed by kidney bean curry with rice. One of my favourite meals.
