I’ve just been on a virtual garden centre shopping trip in Cheshire . It was so much fun. I got 10 ( I think ) plants for my new garden. And they were all reduced . They will arrive the first week of august with my friend that was actually at the garden centre .

I'm on annual leave from tomorrow. Two full weeks for the first time in three years. I can't quite believe it!

Last night we spotted a glow worm glowing in the veg garden, the first one since 2020, although I've seen plenty of larvae slug and snail hunting.
Have a lovely break Proserpina

32 here and due to get much hotter (40 ) without any rain at all in the 2 week forecast BUT I've finally found a couple of tomatillo seedlings, one in the compost and one in the ground. Phew. We will have tomatillo curry this year

My tomatillo plants are thriving despite me not potting them on.
I've ordered polycarbonate for the gaps in the greenhouse, so by the end of next weekend, my greenhouse will be finished! Path will be laid by then, and horse muck will have been spread
