Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night!

Evening all, warm humid day, now looking like rain

No rain here today, but I could finally have some friends over for tea! I went to the Company shop for some nice, cheap chicken that I later on cooked with lemon, coriander, chickpeas and spinach. Got a trolley full for £40. Love it.
Then I went to the fish merchant and got some sea trout, dressed crab, pickled herring and a massive bag of frozen prawns. I used to have a fish round, so the lads in the shop were as pleased to see me as I was to see them! Lovely bunch
On to Asda for a new toaster and kettle as both of them are on the blink at home. Expensive round, as I found loads of clothes that I liked.
Got home, made a cake for my friend who had a birthday yesterday and we had a lovely evening together.
The only gardening was to go outside and pick the strawberries. Nothing needed watering.

I'm off to the allotment tomorrow and I can really start to enjoy my week off

Welcome to the first of July....where did the first 6 months go?

Postman delivered a nice suprise today, a cheque from HMRC for £363, overpayment of tax for 2017....good to know they provide a promt service

Overcast and blowy at the moment but will be fine for visiting the plots.more about remodelling than growing this year.

Afternoon all. I just finished cutting the grass and the heavens opened. Of course I new I would make it before I started....

I've been putting it off but I must do a bit of shopping today (shucks). Might get the chainsaw out later and have a bit of play with it or I may just slope off and go fishing!

Morning I've shopped Vinny went early to get it over with took the car instead of my trolley because of the heavy rain.

Afternoon

Just finished chopping wood with the chainsaw.

Settled down to watch the Toon v West Ham. Not a good start as we are 1-0 down after 5 nminutes.

Howay the toon, try and turn it round.

Was out in the greenhouse potting on some rosemary cuttings but there were several strong gusts of wind so decided to move out and back into the house and though it has settled down again I think I will give the greenhouse a miss for today I think I will go and annoy her ladyship
