Courgette No. 2, sliced and shallow fried on toasted Three Cheese Bloomer with an added layer of cheese.
I like cheese.

I had grilled cuttlefish with chips and salad tonight, and taramosalata for starters. Yesterday we had barbecue with chicken, kebabs and grilled halloumi, grilled peppers, roast potatoes, sliced tomatoes, feta cheese and tsatziki at the villa.
Thefirst night we had mussels and chicken gyros - love Greek food

First time I've used Tofu! Had it with basil infused Halloumi and salad. Couldn't taste the basil though so added some sweet chilli dip. Was surprised how wel the Tofu hed it's shape in the frying pan. Because there were no destructions I wondered whether I needed to fry it at all and whether I could have just eaten it as it was, cold with a salad?

^^^ There's Firm Tofu and Silken Tofu (soft). I find it a bit bland so marinade it in soy sauce, dip in flour and shallow fry to crisp it up. Don't fancy it cold.
My evening meal - yellow sticker Salmon, Smoked Cod and Haddock fish cake with a stirfry of 2 Courgettes and some of last year's onions that were so small I didnt even see them to lift. Now they've turned into very nice green onions.

Now they've turned into very nice green onions. This Tofu was pre-marinated in soy sauce. I hada taste of it before I fried it and decided I could probably eat it the way it was? Is there not summat about them using genetically modified soya beans to make it?
