Morning all.
Waiting for two phone calls this morning, one from the Doc about me stopping taking tablets and one from the German Shepherd Rescue with a view to adopting an older dog.
Hardly got out the doors yesterday because of the weather and it looks similar today. Probably a bit of experimental cookery coming on today as I made a nice chicken curry yesterday.
Take care folks.

Rain stopped play. Was going to christen the bus pass but it was tipping down so it wasn't really worth getting soaked for just a jolly. Then as the bus went by the door the rain eased and it brightened up. Typical! Oh well another day will have to do.

I found a novel way of planting my wildflower plug plants in my mini meadow........with a claw hammer. Ground is soft so a wack with the hammer makes an indentation just the right size to drop a plug plant in! Necessity is the mother of invention as I had left my trowels and dibbers at the allotment.
Tidied up my woodpile, collected strawberries from allotment, pulled up my Japanese red onions which had been battered flat by the wind and planted turnips where the onions had been.
If it stays dry I may even get my grass cut at home.

Artnoon All! Its been raining/drizzling/raining/drizzling all day. Just braved it to go to the end of the garden to see whether the courgettes had turned into marrows! If I'd left it an hour longer they might have.:0
Pulled a couple of baby beets and picked the beans and mangetout while I was there. Now drying off in the kitchen - that's me, the dogs and the veggies.
Wonder what's for tea??

Afternoon I’ve spent most of the day in the garden not achieved much apart from planting lettuce and mazuna. Sat reading just now enjoying the day.
