It was beetroot day today. Golden Eye, Touchstone Gold, Choggia, Cylindra, Bolton, Crosby's Egyptian (what a name!)
Finished sowing the chitted B beans, but not enough had sprouted to finish the row/s. If the unchitted ones don't pop, now I've put them in the airing cupboard, I may have to buy some! I was sure I had some more save B bean seed but I can't find them.

I squoze about 750 seeds into 5 seed trays, hopefully enough for about 60' of rows.

Sowed quite a lot yesterday; cabbages and cauli, squash. cucumber, courgettes, 29 different varieties in all. I might need to be rather selective when planting them out if they all hatch.

The remaining B beans did chit in the warm but I thought it really cruel to put them directly in the cold ground after being in the airing cupboard, so transferred the beans with 1" long roots to a seed tray in the gh for a few days until this cold snap passes.

Beetroot (just four multi-sow modules as I'm planning to succession sow, but I'm already itching to sow more!)
Chervil
Nasturtiums (second sowing of these, with the first just starting to emerge)
Formerly self-contained, but expanding my gardening horizons beyond pots!
