Bright and sunny but a cold wind blowing some short rainfall, snow warning from 11pm tonight
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Well, I was going to meet up with a friend this morning. We often do a couple of laps around a lake and through some forestry. Often go in the rain. We've decide to give it a miss. It's not only chucking it down it's super windy. Looks like it will be a cleaning day today

When I got out of bed at bout 7.30 I looked out the window and it was dry and bright! Went downstairs, made a cuppa, looked out the window again and there was a covering of snow!
At least the wind appears to have abated a bit!

Normal service has been resumed - grey, dank and cold. Log fire weather again.

Sunshine - go out and open GHs. Think about planting out Broad beans.
Go back into house for a coffee - then the world turns white and hailstones are bouncing off the GH.
Then the sun comes back out, the hail melts and I venture out again.......................and it hails again!

Got up this morning to my garden looking as tidy as everyone else's, yet when I had looked out about 4.30 there was no snow, don't know when it started but there was a fair covering by the time I got out of bed,
