Chinese takeaway tonight as our concert started at 18:30 and finished just after 20:15, so we went to our friends house for a takeaway afterwards
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

Been meaning to ask for ages Bren are they proper sausages or the other type?

I don't mind either although the latter reminds me of days out getting them at sporting or music events.

I cookes some beef mince off last night as it was on its end date. Rolleyes Today I halved it and froze half for a spg bol sometime in future. To the other half I added finely diced  half a red pepper, half a green pepper,a large onion, three celery sticks, half a tin of chopped tomatoes, half a tin of Kidney beans. I then put some chopped chillies in from jar and added about a quarter of a jar. Boiled it up again for 15 minutes and had it with rice and pumpkin seeds.I was a bit worried I may have overdone it with the chillies but am a firm believer that a chilli should be hot! Smile

It was fine, and the celery (which  was an experiment!) gave it a lovely crunch! Cool

Wonky Jacket potato with Heinz Curry beans from one of the Freebie "past their use by date" tins that came with the mountain of spaghetti.
The beans were in date (Jan 2022) so no idea why they gave those away. Only 3 more tins of these left. Big Grin
