Tuna mayonnaise and a jacket potato.
Enough Tuna left for tomorrow's lunchtime sandwich. This cheap Lidl tuna goes a long way.

Salmon fillet with some sort of fancy dressing, homemade potato and carrot mash, cauli & broccoli (all yellow stickered).
A box of mash leftover for the freezer.
Used the cooking water (pressure cooked) with the odds and ends of mash and the remains of the black pea, tomato and onion concoction, made a couple of days ago and made enough lunch time soup for a couple of meals.

Chilli con carne with spicy Mexican rice (Uncle Ben’s). Chilli nice and hot, rice a bit disappointing.
Coffee keeps me busy until it’s acceptable to drink whiskey.

I bought some steak & Kidney from the local butcher. When I got it home I realised there was far too much for a single meal so I froze half of it. It was only a fiver so rather than wait until Sunday and untilise the other half for Sunday dinner I just cooked it off with mushrooms and onions.
Had it on a plate with mashed sweet potatoe and and mixed vegetables.
Looks like it witll have to be pork or chicken on Sunday!
PS I also bought some pork loin and have marinated it and cooked it. I am waiting til it cools to cut it and see if it resembles the Char Sue meat you get from the Chinese takeaway which i love.

I haven't had Cha Sui for years, mum used to make from a recipe she picked up in Taiwan, I've got the recipe somewhere, must look it out and give it a try, thanks Vinny.

Tonight and probably the rest of the week is yellow sticker chichen thighs, homegrown honeyboat squash and mushrooms in a moroccan sauce with couscous and salad. Topped it with toasted seeds just because I could.
