2022 - What's made you happy today

My garlic is up! I've not really been looking for the last couple of weeks, but I was overjoyed to find that so many of them are poking their heads up! And still no weeds - I laid the bed over grass with cardboard and then hoss muck on top in late October, early November I think? I'm very pleased

Its sunshiny - enough to open the GH window autovent.

Ailsa Craig seeds have started popping up to say hello

Finding a ladybird on the window trying to get out (I guess it came in with some logs) and introducing it to the greenfly on a chilli plant. I now have a happy indoor ladybird

My fruit trees order has been despatched.

I've ordered some Hablitzia tamnoides seeds (thanks Danny)

And I ordered new tiles for the bathroom that ironically look like wood planks, from two different stores of that big orange chain.
I then had an email over night saying three packs out of one store was not available.
I searched high and low in other stores, and none had any.
I went to the stores across the bridge, managed to wrangle a deal on the sample tiles and ended up paying way less than I would've done. THAT made me smile

Post man has just brought me a surprise. A envelope full of seeds     . Posted on the 14th December !!

A little padded envelope arrived today, full of Aquilegia and other flower seeds from Touchwood Plants.
I'll get sowing very soon, won't be able to resist the urge.
