It'll satisfy the voyeur in you though, and you can avoid Spec if he comes to visit Big Grin

Evening all
Rockfit was cancelled this evening.............I was gutted! Rolleyes So much so, I have booked in another session on Friday at a different Community Centre. Smile I do loads of dog walking whch keeps my bottom end in trim but I need these Rockfit workouts so my upper body can stay trim. I will never have a six pack, but with excercise and sensible eating I'm losing the paunch now. Cool

I get my new 'gigs' tomorrow so it will be interesting to see what diffrence they make to my eyesight, if any? Huh They have to be better than the ones I have now which are held together with elastoplast.
There was a time when I used to be able to multi-task but now it seems I can only do one thing each day. Today was shopping day so and thats all that got done.Managed to sneak in a few Crimbo presents while I was on so I think I have summat for everyone now, though I will try and geta few moer bits and pieces for the 'little-uns' as Crimbo is more meaningfull to them.

Have you got something for me, Vinny, because, as everyone keeps saying, I'm a "little 'un". Big Grin
Not much done here today - my one thing was to collect an aerosol of expanding foam - I think its for cake topping. Wink
I also tried to find my breadmaker - without success. How can I mislay something that bulky? The only place I haven't looked is the garage. Its a bit of a dumping ground! Maybe I'll find it tomorrow?

Good Morning everyone

On the morning of the 18th day after I developed a cold, I have awoken to feel a little more human. The headache has abated and I can actually smell things again. I still have a hack, which draws looks of horror from strangers, hopefully that will start to improve and I will no longer be a social pariah.

I hope Jay soon feels better.

Morning all

Glad to hear you are on the mend admin. Cool

Still a bit parky this morning but can't see any white frost.Just put the chrysanths back outside that I thought may succumb to frost. I brought them in last night and stood them in front of the Grench doors, just in case. I am going to get on to the people I bought them from for some recompemse today. I supposedly purchased 5 different coloured beppee varieties. What I have got is one pink, two yellowa and two ted with pink edges. Angry I really bought them to save money by propagating my own 5 coloured plants for next year but have finished up with 3 colours. They were quite expensive if I remember rightly so methinks they are breaking trade descriptions by selling aomething that wasn't as advertised.

Anyway, that's my morning moan over, logburner is lit, tea is half drunk, dog to take for walk then pick up my new specs at lunchtime, after that gawd knows what will get done! Rolleyes

Morning all, morning boss…day 18!!! I’m only on day 9 and still feel rubbish, hopefully not another 9 to go. Glad you are feeling better though, it’s the worst cold I’ve ever experienced!!
Lovely sunny but chilly day today. Grocery delivery this afternoon, better wear my mask! Other than that I’m doing nothing and guess what? I don’t care I’m doing nothing! Smile
Hope you all have a fab day.

I actually found summat that would suit you, they were selling Victorian(not that I am saying you are from the Victorian era, I'll leave the insults to Spec)  toys in Home Bargains. I bought some of the soft juggling balls for on of the grandkids but they had chucks, cards, dominoes and other paraphamalia that your modern child wouldn't know what to do with. Rolleyes One of my favoutite games at school was chuck ha'penny and thats all it cost you. Cool

Do you remember Jacks or knuckle bones Vinny? Some knuckle bones were real bone, the ones I played with were silver, must have been metal of some sort, perhaps ali.

Aw, thank you, Vinny. Smile I loved marbles - not just playing with them, but all the colours in the glass - trying to find two the same etc. I still have a jar of marbles - they're on the windowsill, where the sun catches them and they glint and wink at me.Wink
