180 trains cancelled and no line clearance through the tunnel until Friday. Early theories are blaming signalling system failure. The second train should not have had permission to enter the section where the first train was stationary. Second train should have been held outside our house some 7 miles away until the line was clear. There are some questions to be answered and they will be, the rail investigation people are very good.

I've just been to Morries, for a few essentials and they were selling off their pumpkins for 20p, instead of £1. I bought 4!! Goodness knows when I'll get round to cooking them all but they should store for a while. the chooks will eat them, if I don't.
Had another delivery of 2021 diaries this morning. I have a cunning plan for 25 of them but I'll spare you the details.

Its 25 picture-cover, A5 diaries - I have other ones in all shapes and sizes and layouts and colours. I suppose I should count them! Maybe you'd like to guess how many 2021 Diaries and Calendars I've acquired recently.

3 diaries for roots, shoots & leaves
12 diaries day to day (new one each month
1 for chicken antics
1 for dog antics
1 for each category of seeds ( guessing 10 )

Oooh, Boxed Dates from ?Tunisia with a little wooden fork inside for picking them out.............and only on sale for the festive season.
Were they medjool dates or is my memory playing tricks. Think there was a camel and palm trees on the box - which was flat, with rounded ends.

Not medjool they're usually delget nour dates in those Christmas boxes you still get them in Lidl and Aldi. I buy them every year and they stay I their box til summer.

Well the cold turned into a horrendous cough and extremely sore throat and now I have conjunctivitis!!! It’s miserable and I’m feeling sorry for myself!
