Today I’m actually aloud out of isolation! Only to go and pick up my PCR test kit. Looks very much like Covid Bob (his new official title ) has shared it with me! Spending a week sleeping on the sofa hasn’t helped. To add insult to injury, Covid Bobs isolate ends tomorrow, even if I have now got it. Results are in. I have got it .
It didn't seem right to just 'like' that one SC. Hope you don't get too poorly. Is that yet another 10 day isolation?

I didn't Like SC's post either. How are you feeling? Is Bob OK now?
My sympathies to Jay too - get well soon.
Is it selfish to say that I'm glad you're all miles away from me
In other news, it rained heavily over night but the sun has struggled through now. Ground too wet to do much so may continue with GH clearance and refilling.

I’m not to bad during the day but evening I feel rough as old boots! Bob is much better & happier now he’s allowed out again. Still a bit of a cough & still can’t taste anything but those symptoms of it can last a couple of weeks after you’ve stopped being contagious.
You’re not selfish at all. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, it’s really quite unpleasant.

Thanks for the sympathies everyone and sending loads to you to SC. My son had Covid in July and still has a touch of the Covid cough. Had his anitibody test and it shows he is 99 point something percent immune, so something good from it.
Look after yourself SC, it will soon be Thursday.
Right off for a beechams, catch you later. Oh on the beechams front, it’s no longer sold in the paper wrappers…it’s cheap plastic stuff now. After all these years too.

Has everyone finished putting their clocks back yet?
I always forget how to change the time on the phones and have to ask the Duckduck how to do it. Otherwise, think I'm sorted. Hope we don't have a power cut as I'd have to do it all again. We've had flickering lights but so far, so good.
JJB. your day sounds a bit fraught. Hope you stay powered up now.

I thought tech like phones did the clock change themselves, I had better turn mine on to check.

You may have seen on the news we've had a coming together of two trains in a tunnel in Salisbury, thankfully no one seriously injured. We don't yet know why. If you're thinking of travelling by train in the south, check before you go, Salisbury is cut off while investigations are carried out and wreckage cleared. What with mini hurricane, power cuts and a train crash they'll have lots to talk about on the local news tonight.

These are the house phones - not mobile, Jen. The flickering lights last night kicked my bedside clock radio off so when I went to bed it was 5.56 am! Had to reset the clock with a guesswork time as I couldn't be bothered to go looking for an accurate clock at that time in the morning/night!

Fortunately, nobody seems to have been seriously hurt but it must have been quite alarming.
