Today I’m actually aloud out of isolation! Only to go and pick up my PCR test kit. Looks very much like Covid Bob (his new official title ) has shared it with me! Spending a week sleeping on the sofa hasn’t helped. To add insult to injury, Covid Bobs isolate ends tomorrow, even if I have now got it. Hope you're in the clear, SC and that Covid Bob is feeling better. There are some things that shouldn't be shared and Covid is one of them!!

Helen was losing her sight near the end so I used to read to her. The night before she died I read part of Widdershins to her, a novel steeped in local history. She was really enjoying it and making comments as I went along.
This morning I placed a flower wreath on her grave and read out loud the last three chapters of the book to her so she would know what happened in the end.

Thinking of you Vinny
Heavy rain for most of the day so no gardening, but did get some work done inside, I amgoing to put a doorway at the top of the stairs, so now have a wall up, OH didn't want it done but as I told her it's to stop cold air coming down and the heat going up, she felt the heat going up kept the two rooms cosy, 1 is basically just a storage area the other is a bedroom but last used over a year ago, so cosy or not it's getting shut off, after doing some work on that I then went for my booster and flue jag, the young lade who was giving me the jags told me to drink plenty of liquids even a pint or so if I drank alcohol, but I only drink that if someone is buying it for me, OH got hers last week but she said she was not told that, so possibly not what everyone is told but worth noting

Make sure the door is set well back from the head of the stairs. Don't want anyone opening the door and stepping straight out over the stairwell.
A heavy curtain works just as well and is a lot cheaper.
Not much done here today -another damp one so I did some more decluttering indoors.
