Just watching the moon rise behind the trees - its very bright. Yesterday was the full Hunter's Moon. I woke in the night and thought the outside lights were on!!

Morning all
^^^^^^As above I was impressed with the moon last night. Held back the urge to howl at it though. Helen always used to do a little turn with silver in her hand at a full moon for some reason?
Seems a bit parky out again but I am still persisting with wearing shorts!
Even put the heating on for half an hour this morning which raised the temperature indoors 3 degrees. Taking Kato for a walk soon and pleased to see the flea treatment I gave him seems to have worked.
Need to get money from cash machine and put petrol in car sometime today. Lawn looks like it needs another cut which will give me grass cuttings to put on cardboard at allotment. Other than that its Crimbio present wrapping and possibly working on camper van. Pointless making plans though as what I intend to do, and what ACTUALLY gets done, don't always coincide!
Talking of plans, my latest crazy plan is to install a fan near the top of the room where the woodburner is, connected to ducting which will emanate near the bottom of the adjacent living room to try and equalise the heat between both rooms. I've ordered fan and ducting which cost about 20 squid so if plan doesn't work, its not a major loss financially!
TTFN and have a good day all!

Morning
Vinny we have a stove top fan got it from Aldi that seems efficient so I don't see why your plan wont work and its easier than the alternative of opening up the wall between both rooms.

I have a stove top fan also. The woodburner is in the dining room which is laminatd .The living room is carpeted and I didn't want to be dragging logs in so there is a an open flamed gas fire in there. With gas prices going berserk lately I try not to use the fire in there much. The stove top fan helps to warm up the kitchen as well which is open plan but there is a door, a passage and another door to living room so very little heat percolates.
I spend mist of my time close to the woodburner, and Kato being a Siberian Husky spends most of his time in the living room where its cooler.
I know that air extraction is an exact science and it doesn't always do what you think it might, but at 20 squid, I'll take the chance!
I fitted a Victorian type fire in the living room which necessitated widening the chimney breast. There is a void of about 5 inches on each side. One side has heating pipes running up it but the other has nothing. My intention is to feed the fan into that void and with a flexi hose feed it out lower down out of the side of the chimney breast. This way it will not be noticeable in the living room

Evening all.
We are in isolation. Bob just got his results back and is positive for Covid. He has been suffering since Monday. It’s hit him quite hard. I’ve been avoiding him as much as possible and sleeping on the sofa. I feel ok, I’m not 100% but I refuse to let that Covid bi**h to take me down . I think it’s a fight I’m going to loose .
Hope everyone is well & staying safe.

Sorry to hear that, SC & Bob. Get well soon and, if there is a bright side, you should be better in time for the Manitou to visit.x

Thats a real shame SC.....get well soon Bob. I am sure SC will nurse you back to back to full health
I have had a cough and sore throat since Monday but all the laterial flow tests have been negative. In order to stop panic in people around me, I have been isolating to a degree, I still walk to the allotment.
