The chooks were a bit puzzled by their new house, they looked at it as we would if a spacecraft had landed in the garden. Some corn thrown through the window did the trick!

Today, I delivered all my beekeeping stuff, picked up some Soap & Glory toiletries, Aloe Vera lotion and Eucalyptus oil, a 3 drawer cupboard (for my book and seed library) and some fabric shopping bags.
Tomorrow, I'm collecting some wooden fruit and vegetables!! and a packing tape dispenser with 4 rolls of tape (so I'll be ready for the seed swap parcels).

You certainly have good stuff on your freebie sites, is that FB marketplace/freecycle. Ours never have anything interesting. Then again, you have 'vision' I would never have thought of a use for a playhouse

The site is on FB and its for anyone living in my postcode area. You can give or ask for items. The nice thing is that everyone lives locally and its often the same people that you interact with.

Today I went to pick up these wooden vegetables       to sit on top of the dresser that lost its top-half a week or so ago. When I went to the house, the owner said "There are 2 sets, do you want fruit, veg or both?" You can guess what I said!  Next minute, I'm inside their living room, where the floor is covered in wooden carvings, in boxes, suitcases or sitting on the carpet and the owner is picking up wooden carvings and offering them to me. There were lots of elephants and other animals. Apparently, his father would go to Kenya every year, and would always bring more carvings back with him. Now, they were clearing the parent's house and had to find homes for everything.
The wife said "We need to find a home for the polar bearstoo" and I had to ask to see them! They were china ornaments, all sizes, from about 2' to little ones, and they were gorgeous. Very tempting - but I resisted. There was a lot of coloured glass vases and ornaments too - that her mother had collected - all needing new homes.
In case you're wondering how weak willed I was, I came away with the fruit & veg, a wooden fish with an articulated body (so it moves in your hand) and a hollow wooden carved thingy that would look nice with a light inside it.

............and I picked up the packing tapes too. Smile

Ours is the same, I've received a motorbike Jacket then gifted assorted  shrubs and pond plants when we filled in the pond to make more space to grow veg,   Electrical items including a couple of TV's and a table.
I take smaller items to the local hospice  charity shop.

I've just offered some odds and ends on the Freebie site including some chicken ornaments that I've collected over the years. They were snapped up and are being picked up tomorrow by a lady who has 11 chooks and 15 ducks. She's bringing me some duck eggs and asked if I wanted some fertile duck eggs next spring to hatch!!! NO,NO,NO!!!

Bet you I don't. Tongue
It was a Giving day today - a selection of laptop chargers, Books about Smoothies, Joe Wicks & Garden Design, 2 x Weekly Meal Planners and the flock of chicken ornaments. I managed to offload some camellia cuttings with the gardening books and received 10 Duck eggs that I'll share with my brother, since he's a big fan of them.
I've just offered a Wine Press for pressing the juice from fruit that's been fermenting for winemaking. FB rejected it first time because it was contrary to their policies (whatever they are?). I relisted it as "Juice press" and it was allowed.
Made me laugh that I can't mention "home-made wine" but there are all sorts of strange goings on that are allowed on FB.
