Hopefully a little quicker. As actual wall construction has only been 2 and 1/2 days. The first half of the week was getting the soleplate right (hopefully).

............and you're familiar with the construction method now, so those other walls will fly up in no time. Smile

It’s the day when everyone turns up to see how we’re getting on. 4 different lots of people turned up. Which is lovely to know so many people are interested in what we’re doing. We’re more than happy to drop tools and show off what we’re doing and the toys we’re playing with and talk build until our visitors glaze over  Big Grin . But we really achieve very little in actual progress

Still going faster than my vendor's new build!

Yes it has to have a name in Gaelic that is either animal or plant. Which is the theme for the rest of the village apart from 3 which are named after the daughters of some bygone estate owner. We’d also like something you don’t have to spell every time you say it to someone when giving our address.
Any suggestions welcome, we’re struggling.

I thought Welsh names were difficult to say but Gaelic is a step further still.
There doesn't seem to be a Gaelic word for chillies!
Chilli Cottage........Brrrrrrrrrr. Smile

This site has tree names, e.g. Alder.—Latin, Alnus Glutinosa — Gaelic, Fearna.

This pdf may help but seems to have a lot of blank pages near the start:

https://deriv.nls.uk/dcn23/7933/79334710.23.pdf (collection of gaelic names of plants, Scottish and Irish)
