Morning all, an interesting birthday 
Well apparently the driver wasn't insured but the car was, I think it was his mum's! The police impounded the car.
Anyway our car is probably a write off, should find out later today.

I take it your own insurance kicked in to write it off and give you the value. Now you can plan on buying a replacement car but how you can visit garages in a lockdown I don’t know how. Good luck with your spending

TBH there is no great urgency for a car whilst we are in lockdown so we can take our time and probably look for a private sale, watch this space!
