No  - its much easier to moan and get someone else to do it for you.

......oh hang on, you could just lift an image off the internet......................but would you be able to post it...?????????????

The max size is 1MB, as Can says, this helps with page loading speeds and storage space. For the forum to resize automatically, would require 3rd party software and all photos would me stored externally to the forum. We all know what happens when that goes wrong!

If you are struggling to resize you could insert it into a blank word document and save it as a PDF, as compression works differently the PDF can be 2MB in size
