Anyone have any idea what these horrible looking things are, please?
Looks like eggs???
Appeared in last couple of days.
Have put a 10p and 5p to give an idea of size.
Thought about throwing them in pond for goldfish??
Whoops having trouble adding a photo!
Keeps saying too big even though I’ve edited it to make it much smaller
Hiya Farendwoman

I believe the photo needs to be under 1000kb.

Email the photo to yourself and if you click n the image size box it generally gives you an option of file size and you can select a smaller image see below

This makes me wonder......if forums want people to post pictures they should make it as easy as possible to do so?

I'm not having a dig at this forum which is a bit easier to use than others, but you shouldn't need to do all sorts of things just to stick a flaming piccie on, it should do it for you.

Bah, humbug! Big Grin

Vinny there had to be a limit to picture size otherwise the forum would be incredibly slow trying to load the pictures
There's a thread about adding photos at https://gardenandgossip.org/showthread.php?tid=87
I use Photo Resizer app to get original photos down to a manageable size, suitable for posting.

I know that ,but surely in this technological era there could be a system where whichever format you posted the picture in it automatically changed the format to suit whatever the forums size dimensions allowed? I A message like " Your picture is in the wrong format and too big for this forum, we have automatically adjusted its size and posted it in the required format" would do.
It must be a harder to do than I anticipate as as far as I know, no forum does it! Rolleyes
