SC I was thinking of a bag or gloves but have decided to crochet a blanket using up the leftover yarn. If I get bored with it I can always just make a cushion cover.

I do like making bags, made a few different ones over the years. Currently swapping between my first attempt at a jumper and making Christmas chocolate orange covers.
Today I’ve dug the trench around the crescent bed and started digging out the cut flower bed. Also a bit of cutting back dead things

Cleared the leaves off GH2 and went behind it to cut back the laurel which is shading it. Also cut back more of the grapevine which has grown over the roof of the GH. Lots of rooted vines behind the GH where the vines have touched the ground. Must get in there and dig them out before they take over.
Cut down dead raspberry canes; Raked out grass from paths and turned the heaps.
Emptied 2 tubs of rotted wood chips around some rhubarb. Brought the tubs back to the GH ready for filling with old compost.
Sowed quick sprouting broccoli seeds into an already filled tub.

Spent the afternoon breaking up small pieces of wood for kindling that were to small and were full of nails to bother with the chansaw. I need to get the sides and roof on a shed I am building so I can get rid of my 'old'' campervan on the drive which is acting as a shed at the moment.
With these dark days, I take Kato for a walk, make something to eat then eat it. Then It's almost time for Kato's second walk,so not much time to crack on with shed building before it's dark again!

Dismantled all the bean supports.
Dug up all the pendulous Sun Ray begonias. The ones I grew from seed have formed nice tubers so I'm very happy with that.
Dug up the tender La Campanella fuchsias, trimmed them and potted up in compost to spend winter on the windowsill.
Took in the hanging baskets as we're forecast very cold weather overnight. I'll save the fuchsias and begonias in them, then replace with pansies for winter.
