I have a simple R for today - Rhubarb.
OK, I already have rhubarb but they're wimps, little puny things that wouldn't make a crumble if they huddled together and held hands. I want a big, chunky rhubarb with thick stalks that stay tender and stringless, just like you see in the adverts.

R for Root trainers but I know I'll never buy any when loo rolls are free.

I missed R yesterday. Instant runner bean supports. It takes forever to put them up and take them down at the end of the season. I see some sense in having a permanent structure.

My S would be Sunflowers - a garden full of sunflowers that swivel their heads to follow the sun.
I really really want lots of sunflowers but find it impossible to grow them.
My School reports always said "Must try harder". Maybe I should.

S for sundial, not sure where I’d put one but I do fancy one in the garden maybe one that fixes on a wall would work better.

I missed out S and can think of nothing but swimming pool, and I don't really want one of those. How about Storage. A huge Shed perhaps at the top of the garden out of site.
My T would be a stylish sunny terrace with all the outdoor kit that would never get used because P isn't keen on barbeques and who has time to lounge around on a sunny day. It is an easily fulfilled wish that would be a total waste of money. Our idea of alfresco eating is a bos sheet on the grass with a hastily thrown together sandwich in between two grubby jobs, and I love it really. .

I'd like a Thermostatically controlled propagation bed in the GH although I'd probably still have a propagator in the bedroom as I like to look for germination first thing in the morning. Those little signs of new life make my day.

My U is more undercover space, like SC's tunnel, or even a carport like structure for hardening off with a bit of protection from the weather.
Unlimited compost.
