The New Challenge starts here.
We've I-Spyed what we have, now we're going to I-Spy what we don't have but wish we did.
Imagine that a Genie with a magic lamp or your Fairy Godmother or The Boss will grant you one wish daily. You can wish for anything you'd like to have in your garden as long as it starts with the appropriate letter of the Alphabet.
Tell us what you'd like and why. Be inventive. . For example you might like an Apple tree, an Air Raid shelter or an Anteater - but why????
Tomorrow is A

I'd like to SPY an Avocado tree that had ready to eat avocados every week of the year.
Apparently some varieties are hardy down to -5 so its not impossible.

I'd like aubergines that are free of pests. This year they suffered an onslaught of aphids and when they were just getting over that red spider mite took over. and there is always slugs waiting in the rear if any fruit do develop. Against all the odds, I've harvested 3 reasonable ones but that is from 4 plants.

I'd like to spy an Angel who would come and redesign my ornamental garden (for free)
As were allowed a magic genie's lamp, I figure our wish doesn't have to be based on reality.
So
I wish for an automatic weeding machine. I've spent the afternoon getting rid of groundswell and bittercress before it seeds.

Shock horror - Lizzie Borden comes to mind. 'Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her mother 50 whacks'

For my B I would like a rampant bougainvillea archway. It would remind me of my childhood growing up in the tropics, where it almost grew as a weed. We had a carport covered in it.
