I’ve just found this Scarlet.

I’ve had trouble getting cuttings to take. Managed it but it took a few attempts.

Years ago I read an article that recommended you grow Early and Late flowering honeysuckles for continuity of flowering - Belgica and Serotina?. I did buy one of each but, probably, before I moved house and they'll be perfuming my last garden!

That's interesting, Vinny. . Its a shrub honeysuckle, not a climber so would be easier to find a home - near the house maybe.

I don't know whether you remember the Mulberry I ordered once and received a stick!  Well the stick came good and even produced a few small mulberries this year. It's turned into a healthy looking plant now.
I ordered various willow cutting's to root myself. After sticking them in the garden, one has reached 12 foot high in its first year!

Was it the dwarf Mulberry, Vinny? I bought one too and it had quite a few mulberries - but they were so small that I didn't pick them as I was convinced they'd grow larger.
They didn't - instead they shrivelled on the plant!

They didn't - instead they shrivelled on the plant! Likewise Veggie. I thought that perhaps because it was a young plant it only gave me small mulberries? Now the plant is established I am expecting a decent crop next year. We shall see.

I have a "bad" feeling about these mulberries - don't think they'll live up to their promise!!
