Visited B&M, B&Q and Poundland, none of which had the Autumn planting onion sets that I was after! 
I will have to source them online, but usually the postage is prohibitive? Neve mind, on my way home I called at the allotment just to see how things wee doing and not intending to do anything.............yeah right!
As usual I got suckered into weeding, mainly hand weeding with a trowel as most of the weeds in the beds were deep rooted.It wasn't long befoe the jumper came off, closely followed by the tee shirt. As usual no one was on site so it didn't matter if I looked a clip!
After probably an hour and a half I had enough and decided to rake off all the weeds onto the central path to stop them rooting again.The cental path was then a mess, so I shoveled off weeds and brushed path. What a difference it made. I was quite proud of the effect so I took a couple of piccies!
