Raspberry cane advice

I grew yellow raspberries when I first planted this garden - still have them running wild. However, I don't like them. They taste of sweet water, there's no real taste to them. Also, the yellow drupes show all the black blemishes that would be lost on a red fruit. Don't let me dissuade you though.

I won't but all advice is gratefully accepted.

I might have enough wayward JJ for half a row and I'm dithering (no change there, then) about what to put in the other row, autumn or new more modern disease and aphid resistant summer canes. All will be resolved by the time bareroots are available,  I hope.
