Just had a look online and they do resemble Japanese wineberry although no fruits have formed so far. I don't recall planting this although I do remember planting what was sold as a Tayberry in that position so wonder whether it got mixed up at the nursery?
I'll just have to wait ad see if it fruits then figure out how I am going to hold it in check? I remember wanting the Tayberry/Logaberry to grow along the fence but this one is branching out into the border so will take a bit of training, if that is what it is.
